The public is invited to join our August Lunch & Learn program on Thursday, August 28, at 12 p.m. noon central time at the Eisenhower Presidential Library. The hybrid program will be held in the Library building indoor courtyard and online via YouTube Livestream. Guests are encouraged to arrive by 11:45 a.m. A light box-lunch will be provided on a first come, first served basis.
Sharon Box, the Assistant Director of Military Personnel Records, will join us virtually to share her invaluable expertise with the National Personnel Records Center. Her presentation will delve into the agency's rich history, outline its extensive holdings, and, most importantly, provide clear guidance on how to request military records.
Box retired from the U.S. Air Force as a Chief Master Sergeant. She began her career with the National Archives and Records Administration in 2014, holding a variety of management roles at the National Personnel Records Center in St. Louis. In her current role as the Assistant Director of Military Personnel Records, she leads a team working to preserve the records of our nation's veterans and make them available to the American people.
The 2025 programming season is dedicated to our nation’s veterans. The Eisenhower Museum was originally founded as a tribute to WWII veterans. Join us as we continue to uphold the legacy of honoring those who served. These programs are all made possible courtesy of the Eisenhower Foundation with generous support from the Jeffcoat Memorial Foundation.
