On July 4, 2026, our nation will celebrate 250 years of Independence. This pivotal moment offers an opportunity to reflect on our country’s past, cultivate a renewed appreciation for American history, and explore the beauty of our nation.

To celebrate this historic anniversary, the Eisenhower Presidential Library & Museum is pleased to announce the opening of a landmark exhibit. "Opening the Vault at the Presidential Libraries" will feature original, history-making documents straight from the vaults of the National Archives & Records Administration and rarely seen outside of Washington, DC. Visitors will have a unique opportunity to see some of the most iconic documents in our national story up close, such as the Louisiana Purchase, Kansas-Nebraska Act, Brown v. Board of Education, and the Korean War Armistice Agreement.
