DWIGHT D. EISENHOWER: THE MAKING OF A LEADER

Abilene, Kan. - The public is invited to attend the July Lunch & Learn scheduled for Thursday, July 28 at noon central time either in person or online. The program will be held in the library building auditorium and will begin promptly at noon. Guests are encouraged to arrive by 11:45 a.m. A light box-lunch will be served on a first come, first served basis.

Continuing with this year's theme "The Making of a Leader," this month's Lunch & Learn features guest author David A. Nichols who will join us remotely. Dr. Nichols is a prominent historian of the Eisenhower presidency and former academic dean at Southwestern College, with three books published by Simon & Schuster. His most recent Eisenhower book is Ike and McCarthy: Dwight Eisenhower’s Secret Campaign against Joseph McCarthy.
