Our regularly scheduled Evenings at Ease movie night will not be held at its usual time and place. Instead, let's call this an extra-credit homework assignment!

SCHEDULING CONFLICT

A televised Presidential debate is scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 10 at the same time as our Evenings at Ease program. Rather than creating a schedule conflict, we encourage you to watch the selected film "Command and Control" as your own schedule allows.

#FunFact

Did you know the first televised Presidential debate featured two women? Yes, it's true!

The first-ever televised Presidential debate aired on November 4, 1956, during Ike's reelection campaign. Representing the democratic party and nominee Adlai Stevenson, was former First Lady Eleanor Roosevelt. She faced the Republican party representative Senator Margaret Chase Smith.
