Abilene, Kan. - Register now for the May Lunch & Learn scheduled for Thursday, May 26 at noon central time. This online event features author Jack Holl, Ph.D.
Continuing with our theme of “The Making of a Leader,” Dr. Holl will speak about Eisenhower’s leadership during the flu pandemic of 1918. His program will focus on his recent article titled The Second Battle of Gettysburg: Eisenhower’s Fight with the 1918 Flu Pandemic.
Dr. Holl is the former chair of the Department of History at Kansas State University. He has written numerous books and articles on Eisenhower. He is currently researching and writing a book on Eisenhower’s paintings.
