Abilene, Kan. - The next program in the Evenings at Ease series is Tuesday, June 8 at 7 p.m. central time featuring guest speaker Dr. Allan Millett This online presentation will begin right at 7 o'clock, so please sign in 10 minutes early.

Continuing with our WWII theme for June, we are pleased to host noted historian Dr. Allan R. MIllett. A retired colonel of the Marine Corps Reserve, Dr. Millett is a specialist in the history of American military policy, 20th century wars, and military institutions. He is one of the founders of the internationally renowned military history program at the Ohio State University. Dr. Millett currently directs the Eisenhower Center for American Studies, founded by historian Stephen Ambrose at the University of New Orleans, and serves as the Senior Military Advisor for the National World War II Museum. Millett is the author of numerous publications and the 2008 Pritzker Military Library Award for Lifetime Achievement in Military Writing.
